Ted Budd, endorsed by former President Trump and supported by conservative super PAC Club For Growth, is leading by the double digits in the polls ahead of the North Carolina GOP’s former standard bearer, former Gov. Pat McRory, ahead of the primary election to replace retiring Sen. Richard Burr.
