Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer dodged questions from Fox News on Monday after being photographed last month with a man at a gala who is now facing federal charges for allegedly running a secret Chinese police station in New York City.  The prominent New York Democrat was asked twice about the matter outside the Roosevelt House at Hunter College in Manhattan – where Schumer was the honorary speaker at an Equal Rights Amendment event this morning – but he chose not to respond.  Before and after the event, Schumer appeared to be on his phone.  "Hi, Senator, what can you tell us about attending a gala last month and taking photos with a suspected CCP agent?" White House National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan denied accusations that he was part of a Biden family "corrupt influence-peddling operation" in Ukraine on Monday. Sullivan responded to the accusation during a Monday press briefing at the White House, telling reporters that he had nothing to do with such an operation. The accusations arose from a former White House stenographer who claims to have been privy to conversations among the Biden family and Sullivan in 2014. Live Nation and Sphere Entertainment announced Monday the dates for U2’s upcoming "U2:UV Achtung Baby Live At Sphere" shows starting Sept. 29. The rock band’s special five-night run of shows will be held until Oct. 8 at The Venetian’s Sphere with a state-of-the-art audio and visual system designed for each concertgoer.
