Biden admin quietly admits White House's 9,000 unused oil permits talking point is wrong https://ift.tt/sYTEbOA

The Biden administration quietly updated a federal database showing how many unused oil and gas drilling permits it has approved, reducing the number by more than 2,000. The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) revised the current number of approved applications for permits to drill (APD) — which oil and gas companies are required to file once they identify a deposit on a lease that can be tapped — down from an estimated 9,000 to less than 6,700. The BLM, a subagency of the Department of the Interior (DOI), blamed the revision on a Trump-era technical change that it hadn't properly accounted for. "As of February 2023, companies have over 6,600 approved and unused drilling permits available on federal lands," the BLM said in a statement to Fox News Digital. "This number has been updated to account for a reporting discrepancy resulting from a transition to a new database in mid-2020." The change suggests that President Biden and administration officials had oversta...

King Charles ‘hammered away relentlessly’ at Queen Elizabeth to drop Camilla’s consort title, author claims https://ift.tt/sYTEbOA

King Charles allegedly rallied for years to ensure that his beloved wife, Camilla, would be recognized as queen. The claim was made by Christopher Anderson, author of "The King: The Life of Charles III," for which he spoke to numerous insiders about Queen Elizabeth II’s eldest son. According to the U.K.’s DailyMail, "well-placed sources" alleged that Buckingham Palace is set to officially describe Camilla as "queen," rather than "queen consort." A spokesperson for Buckingham Palace didn’t immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment. "For the past 18 years, I've been telling people that Camilla would be queen… as Charles pledged when he convinced Queen Elizabeth to allow him to marry his longtime mistress in 2005, and not ‘queen consort,’ which is a title that has never really existed," Andersen claimed to Fox News Digital. "The wife of the king is of course his consort, but she is also, simply, the queen....

FIRST ON FOX: Two committees associated with Democratic Michigan  Rep. Rashida Tlaib  and another "Squad"-linked committee transferred hundreds of thousands of dollars to a firm run by an anti-Israel activist over the past two years, filings show. The progressive entities combined to push nearly $270,000 to Unbought Power, LLC, a Florida-based consulting and advocacy firm owned and operated by Rasha Mubarak, a community and political activist who has openly expressed anti-Israel viewpoints several times on social media platforms. Many Squad members themselves have come under fire in the past over controversial remarks deemed antisemitic. Late last year, Democratic Florida Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz set her sights on Tlaib after she claimed individuals couldn't be progressive if they support Israel. Democratic Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar has repeatedly been in hot water over her Israel-related comments. ILHAN OMAR'S CAMPAIGN CASH TO CONSULTANTS DIPPED BY MILLIONS ...

Pink is 'saddened and disappointed' by feud headlines with Christina Aguilera, Madonna: 'I should say less' https://ift.tt/WUdRoQG

With a career that spans nearly three decades, Pink's tenure as a musician has seen the artist make waves for her performances, achievements and unfortunately, her public feuds . Taking to Instagram, Pink shared her frustration with the media pigeonholing her to storylines of her past. "I’m so saddened and disappointed by the narrative surrounding some of the press I’ve been doing around my album," Pink wrote. Virginia Gov. Youngkin rings death knell on CCP buying American land near military sites https://ift.tt/WUdRoQG

Republican Virginia Gov. Glenn Youngkin said he''ll sign a bipartisan bill that will block the Chinese Communist Party from buying farmland in the state, including near military installations such as Quantico and the Pentagon. "China has one goal: world domination," Youngkin told Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo on " Sunday Morning Futures ." "To do it at the expense of the United States, they're using every avenue possible from saber-rattling with their military to surveillance with balloons and TikTok. And from trying to infiltrate our economic supply chain by using Trojan horse relationships like the one they have engineered with Ford Motor Co." Youngkin said that in Virginia, he and state lawmakers are "standing up strong" to the CCP. "We're going to make sure that our agricultural farmland is not purchased by the CCP," he said. "We've got a bill now through on a bipartisan basis, that I will sign, that will ke...
